DESCRIPTION

Prima Mano Negroamaro is one of the most superb red wines that you can taste in Puglia. Velvety, elegant, filled with finesse, it will please your palate with every sip. Extremely enjoyable now, it will age gracefully for at least another 15 years and develop with time the complexities of mature Burgundy.

Grape production area

From vineyards over eighty years old located in upper Salento, in Lizzano

Winemaking

Hot fermentation of the skins and cold fermentation of the juice, with malolactic fermentation induced simultaneously with the primary fermentation

Aging

The wine rests in concrete tanks for two years; ages in bottle for at least one year

Tasting notes

Intense red color with violet reflections. Floral and spicy aromas, rose petals, violets, white pepper, cinnamon and Mediterranean scrubland with menthol sensations. On the palate elegant, clean with a firm but velvety tannin, perfectly integrated with the fruit. Concentrated with a more than persistent finish

To be appreciated on its own for a magical moment, can accompany important cheeses, risottos, winter soups, roast lamb, complex roasts
