DESCRIPTION

A Mano Negroamaro comes from a single vineyard in the Salento peninsula. We are convinced that Negroamaro is susceptible to sunburn. It needs some shade to protect the beautiful and unusual flavors and the simple trellis system provides the perfect sun screen for these sensitive grapes. It will age for a very long time and develop the complexities of mature Burgundy. The wine is a ruby in the glass; approachable now, with great aging potential. Lush and fruity in the mouth with juicy red berries that coat your tongue. And there’s plenty of density and persistence too. This wine will shine with spicy sausages, fresh pasta with homemade meatballs, or barbequed chicken.

After harvest, usually in October, the grapes are crushed and cooled. Fermentation proceeds for about 2 weeks at 16 degrees C
